I’ve always been told ‘It’s not what you know, it’s who you know’.
More recently I heard someone say ‘It’s not who you know, it’s who knows you’.
Now apparently ‘It’s not who knows you, it’s who you can help’.
There are lots of different ways that people can help – from funding or endorsements to words of wisdom or encouragement. Even a well-timed hug or smile can have a big impact on others.
Everyone has something to give that someone else might need. We all have more potential to influence others than we realise.
